Before I begin, I am not a fashion expert. I am far from it.
We all seen it from time to time. Die hard sports fans go to games and wear some ridiculous outfits. Having being in so many sporting events, I have seen it all. Maybe they do it to get attention or they are just crazy. With that in mind, here are some ideas on what NOT to wear the next time you go to a sporting event:
Wearing Nothing- There are a few fans who have become icons for their streaking ways, but I’d advise you not to follow in their footsteps. Please don’t.
Wearing a different jersey– Let’s say for example you are at a Brooklyn Nets vs New York Knicks game and someone shows up with a Miami Heat jersey on. That would get you booed throughout the entire arena. And possibly kicked out of the game.
Wearing a Jersey for the Wrong Sport- Never go to a game wearing the jersey of one sports team with the name of an athlete who plays an altogether different sport on the back. Just wrong.
Wearing a Misspelled Jersey– You do not want to a game with a misspelled jersey. It is just not smart.
Wearing a Autograph Jersey- I can understand the excitement of getting an athlete to do that for you, but you should really put it in a frame. Also, wearing a autograph jersey is a great way to attract attention by getting robbed.
Wear a entire uniform- You are not apart of the team. Plain and simple.
Wearing a Suit- I get that you came out of work but it just looks so wrong. You got to plan ahead of time for nights like this. Bring a extra set of clothes.
