New York Yankees Ticket Preview

The New York Yankees missed the playoffs for only the second time in 19 years. So what did they do? Oh they only signed Carlos Beltran, Brian McCann, Jacoby Ellsbury, Masahiro Tanaka, Matt Thornton, Brian Roberts and Kelly Johnson via free agents. The Yankees spent over $400 million on these players. The only drawback is the departure of Robinson Cano (bolted to the Seattle Mariners), Andy Pettitte and Mariano Rivera (retirement.) It reminds me of the 2009 offseason when they went on a spending splurge. It resulted in a World Series title. Will history repeat itself or Yankee fans will be very disappointed?

The Yankees start their home portion of their schedule on April 7th against the their AL East Rivals the Baltimore Orioles. Both teams are expected to make a run at the division crown. The average ticket price for this game is right around $258.16 while the get in price for this game is around $65 which is the average price on opening day. for the next game, it is cheaper. The average ticket price for this game is $95.16 while the most cheapest price you can find is only $4. For the final game of this three game, tickets are much more cheaper. The average ticket price for this game is $112.05 while you only have to pay $7 which is a small increase.

You know how New York City is. Always try to get as much money as possible. New York is a very expensive place to live but it is a price to pay for seeing a legendary franchise live. Somebody has the pay for the stadium and its’s players. Take advantage of it’s low prices.
