The AFC East has been dominated by the New England Patriots in the last few years or so. Can the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills and Miami dethroned the Patriots? Here is the previews and predictions of the AFC East:
New England Patriots– The Patriots have owned the AFC East for the last five years or so. The Patriots have reloaded this offseason bringing in former Carolina Panther receiver Brandon LaFell, former New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccanneer Darrelle Revis and others. The addition of Revis is significant because when healthy he can play like the best corner in the league. Can he return to his old ways?
2014 Record-11-5, first in the AFC East
New York Jets– The Jets finished last season with a record of 8-8 and saved Rex Ryan job in the process. The Jets have upgraded their offense, bringing in former Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker, former Titan Chris Johnson and former Eagle and Falcon quarterback Michael Vick. The defense of Rex Ryan will come up big for the Jets but can the offense step up for the Jets?
2014 Record– 10-6, second in the AFC East
Miami Dolphins The Miami Dolphins are the most weirdest team in of football. The Dolphins have the most talented team on paper but on the field it is a whole different story. They signed various free agents incudeing cornerbacks Frank Grimes and Cortland Finnegan. They also traded Johnathan Martin who was apart of the Dolphins bullying scandal. With that in the rear view mirror, can they finally go far in the playoffs?
2014 Record– 8-8, third in the AFC East
Buffalo Bills– The Bills have always been labeled as the team that will breakout this year. Could this year be the year for them?
2014 Record– 7-9, fourth in the AFC East
